Senior Plans After High School

Seniors plans after high school aren’t all the same, some are going into the military, some are going to college and some are planning to get a job right after high school. “I want to go to college and get a degree in interior design or education. UCF is my number one school because I like the area. To help prepare for college I take ACT and SAT prep classes along with Advanced Placement classes” senior Amber Ryan said.
Other seniors choose to take a different route, depending on their situation. “I’ve been going to school for 12 years. I’ve taken AP and Dual Enrollment classes since I was 14. At the end of this semester I will done with my AA at only 16 years old. I skipped a grade so I’m already behind so I wanna take a gap year to calm down and catch up to my peers. I don’t really want to go to college at 17” senior Kinjal Patel said.
6 out of 10 seniors asked said they didn’t even know what their plans were going to be after high school. It’s common to be unsure because at the end of the day seniors are just kids and still growing up.
