On January 11, 2018 my family and I traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for me to compete in a gymnastic competition. During the time we were there my team and I competed and we didn’t do too badly, we ended up in 4^th place out of 30 teams, but there are some things I know I can work on and do better for next time. Outside of competing my family and I went and rode a rollercoaster called New York New York which was on top of a hotel and we also traveled to the hoover dam which was honestly pretty cool to see. Next year we plan to attend the same competition and do better as individuals to hopefully get first place. “Watching my sister compete in this competition wasn’t like the other ones I’ve seen her do, she tried her best and in the end it paid off,” senior Makaley Rendina said.
