Ending the season with a loss. Junior Varsity and Varsity lost with 8-0 against West Side Shore last Thursday.
“I felt like we definitely could have done better but being down a few girls we didn’t do horrible, we at least held till the last 11 minutes of the 4th quarter. I personally feel I gave it all that I had and I felt good about how I played against West Side,” Senior Mikayla Coffey said.
Junior Varsity season has finished for the year but Varsity has two more districts games, against Titusville High and MCC.
“I know that West Side is a good team, it’s sad we didn’t take the win. But I’m extremely proud that my girls didn’t give up and kept going,” Coach Quinn said.
This year JV and Varsity has done a lot of fundraising for the team such as, T-shirt sales, bake sales and garage sales. They have raised enough money to get soccer book bags, sweatshirts and for Varsity even warm up outfits.
“It’s always bittersweet the season is ending but I am very proud of this group of girls, and I can’t wait for next year,” Coach Quinn said.
