Graduation is right around the corner and as every team has had, the varsity softball team had their senior night on April 23. Right before the game, seniors Jenna Landers and Melani Jones walked out onto the field with their family by their side to be recognized as this is their last season playing for the school. As the two seniors stood in the middle of the field, our principle, Mrs. Miller read out their speeches that were dedicated to whomever they chose. Both speeches incorporated something about the team, the coaches, and their families. Posters were hung and many decorations were put up around the field for the two athletes. A party was followed after the game providing food for the team and let them bond with their senior athletes before the season ends and graduation begins.
