On September 27th, 2018, Cadets in the War Eagle Battalion took a field trip to the Brevard Veteran Center in Merritt Island. Cadets on Raiders came to school at 7 A.M. to help load supplies and cadets left school at 8:30 A.M. Cadets participated in events such as: Fishing in freshwater and brackish water, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Tug-Of-War, Chicago Ball, and a scavenger hunt in and out of the museum. Cadets came back to school at 3:00 P.M. and helped unload equipment and stayed in the JROTC room for the remainder of the day.
